Enchant Optimization
How Enchant Optimization Works
Section titled “How Enchant Optimization Works”The app detects which of your gear slots support enchanting and lets you select multiple enchant options to compare. It generates combinations with each enchant variation.
Enchantable Slots
Section titled “Enchantable Slots”The following slots support enchants (Midnight Season 1):
- Head, Shoulder, Chest, Legs, Feet
- Ring 1, Ring 2
- Main Hand, Off Hand
Selecting Enchants
Section titled “Selecting Enchants”For each enchantable slot, the app shows:
- Your currently applied enchant (pre-selected)
- Preset enchants from the current season, shown by name
- “No enchant” option — always available
- Custom enchant ID input for enchants not in the preset list
”No Enchant” Option
Section titled “”No Enchant” Option”“No enchant” (omitting the enchant entirely) is always included as an option. This lets you see the DPS impact of enchanting vs not enchanting.
Combining with Gear
Section titled “Combining with Gear”Enchant combinations multiply with gear combinations:
| Gear Combos | Enchanted Slots | Enchant Options Each | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 9 | 0 | — | 9 |
| 9 | 2 rings | 3 each | 9 x 3 x 3 = 81 |
| 9 | 2 rings + weapon | 3 / 3 / 2 | 9 x 3 x 3 x 2 = 162 |
Best Practices
Section titled “Best Practices”- Optimize enchants separately from gear unless you have very few gear combinations
- Focus on high-impact slots — ring enchants and weapon enchants typically have the biggest DPS impact
- Use presets rather than manual IDs — the preset list covers all competitive options for the current season
